About the opportunity
Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to join our research team working on a project test whether disease outcomes of cereal-rust interactions are dependent on specific interactions between host and pathogen proteases and protease inhibitors.

- Advanced skills in standard laboratory techniques used in the molecular biosciences
- Ability and motivation to learn new laboratory techniques in the molecular biosciences
- Ability to design appropriate experiments to address research questions
- Capability to carry out duties without supervision and to work cooperatively in a group
- Strong commitment to research quality and research integrity
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High levels of organisation with attention to detail and good time management
- Ability to assist with the supervision of research students
We are looking for a Postdoctoral Research Associate with PhD in A PhD in biochemistry/molecular biology or closely-related discipline.
