Position Description

The postdoctoral program manager will be jointly positioned at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and the Stanley Center at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. The program manager will work closely with Dr. Koenen and a larger multidisciplinary research team to develop global research and educational programs in neuropsychiatric genetics, particularly in Africa and Mexico. The candidate will have the opportunity to develop his or her own line of research, if desired, but that is not a requirement of the position. Role may translate into a tenure track position after national search.

Basic Qualifications

Doctorate degree required, preferably in Epidemiology, psychology, human genetics or related fields.

Additional Qualifications

A specific interest in PTSD, schizophrenia, or bipolar disorder is a plus. Spanish language skills a plus. Evidence of prior work in developing countries, particularly in Africa, is a plus.
