Woolyungah Indigenous Centre (WIC) is responsible for recruitment, access and support of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students at UOW via delivery of programs aimed at fostering equity and supporting students from enrolment through to successful completion and graduation. WIC also supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students at the Shoalhaven, Southern Highlands, Batemans Bay, Bega, South Western Sydney and Southern Sydney campuses.

This position will support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander student transition, retention, progression and completion through academic development and leadership of a tailored support program. Working with the Director, Woolyungah Indigenous Centre (WIC), the Indigenous Student Success Coordinator and the Tutorial Support Officer, this position will provide academic assessment and advice, and develop personalised support programs covering academic success, wellbeing support and celebration of culture for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.  

This position will strengthen the academic collaboration between WIC and the UOW Faculties and Divisions in relation to the Alternative Admissions Program, tutorial support plans and WIC-ED program.
