The successful applicant will be responsible for conducting research relating to parenting children for the Positive Parenting for Healthy Living program. Specific duties include, but are not limited to actively conducting research, managing research projects and preparing grant applications and scholarly papers.
The successful applicant will also be required to contribute to Honours and Higher Degree Research student supervision.
Applicants should possess a PhD in the area of clinical psychology or other health-related discipline, with research experience in relation to parenting and child behaviour difficulties in the context of paediatric health and illness management. The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, ability to organise and supervise other researchers, perform indepth and critical data analysis and contribute to research program development.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and to function effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team is essential.

This is a part time fixed term appointment at Research Academic Level B until December 31 2018. The remuneration package will be in the range $92,142 - $95,597 p.a., (full time rate) plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $107,806 - $111,848 p.a.).
