The University of Bristol is implementing an ambitious (UC) Unified Communications programme that will change the way the organisation works by transforming communications and collaborations.

We are seeking a dynamic, highly organised, experienced project implementation officer with outreach skills who will thrive in a friendly but demanding environment.

You will be working with end users, UC specialists, Projects managers and external and internal stakeholders attached to various projects under one umbrella programme. Your role will be to drive projects forward from planning to implementation; your performance will directly influence the success of projects.

You will be gathering user requirements and meeting stakeholders face to face as well as demonstrating how to use the new tools, initiating contact with groups and individuals, identifying their Unified Communication needs and advising accordingly, while fully documenting advice and implementation.

You should be confident with people and should be as proficient on the phone as you are working face-to-face.

Ability to independently explore and understand new software and UC services, and how these could meet a very wide range of end-user requirements, is a must.

For informal enquiries, please contact Kevin Thomas -

The University is committed to creating and sustaining a fully inclusive culture. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and communities.
