£33,518 to £37,706 (pro rata) dependent on experience

Sheffield Hallam University is one of the largest providers of physiotherapy education in the UK, with around 550 pre and post registration students currently studying with us. We have taught physiotherapy for over 50 years and we have extensive experience of teaching UK, EU and international students. Due to an expansion in our Physiotherapy Programme we are looking to recruit a physiotherapist from any clinical background.

The post entails academic delivery to pre and post registration students, including the delivery of inter professional education across Nursing, Allied Health Professions and Social work. With a commitment to enhancing the student experience, you will engage and inspire our students using our state-of-the-art facilities - such as our 3D virtual reality suite and simulation mannequins - and integrated teaching areas to provide an exciting and stimulating learning environment.

You will have:
•    HCPC registration.
•    Well-developed and up-to-date knowledge of the physiotherapy landscape.
•    Awareness of current developments in health care and education.
•    Experience of teaching or supervising physiotherapy students

We offer a range of excellent benefits including 35 days annual leave per year (pro rata) alongside statutory holidays and up to 6 extra days each year for extended University closure.

For non-EU applicants, we are unlikely to be able to offer a certificate of sponsorship for this job (unless you are switching from a UK student visa), so you should only apply if you already have unrestricted permission to work in the UK.
