Edith Cowan University (ECU) has a fully accredited undergraduate Paramedical Science course. The paramedical science team is passionate about developing the role of paramedics to meet the needs of the community, and creating a dynamic learning space for high quality paramedical science graduates who are valued members of the health workforce.
An exciting opportunity exists to be involved in the delivery of our Paramedical Science courses in a dynamic student-focused environment. This practitioner-scholar position offers an excellent opportunity for the motivated paramedic academic to pursue teaching innovations related to Paramedical Science and Emergency Medicine.
- Degree qualified in a healthcare discipline. Completion or significant progress towards completion of a PhD or Masters degree will be highly regarded but is not essential.
- Experience in the WA and/or national healthcare system with a particular focus on student education and supervision.
- Knowledge of supervision requirements for undergraduate and postgraduate students in healthcare organisations.
- Well organised and able to coordinate multiple tasks and priorities.
- An ability to build successful working relationships with a wide range of people and organisations.

Benefits & Remuneration
This full time (1 FTE), 2 year appointment attracts remuneration of $68,873 to $92,862pa, plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
