Applications are invited for appointment as Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science, to commence on August 1, 2018 or as soon as possible thereafter for one year, with the possibility of renewal.

The Department of Computer Science is a forward-looking Department committed to playing a leading role in the software and information technology initiative in Hong Kong and the Asia-Pacific region. It offers programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and has excellent computing resources, well-equipped teaching and research facilities and support. Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and a minimum of two years’ teaching experience in tertiary institutions. Preference will be given to those who have experience, a good record and commitment in teaching Computer Science courses. The appointee will play a key role in the Department’s teaching team. He/She is expected to provide high-quality teaching, at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Computer Science, as well as be active in pedagogical innovations and curriculum enhancement. He/She will also be required to support various administrative services.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
