The role

This position will provide senior academic leadership with a particular focus on enhancing the student experience and the promoting the School’s profile both nationally and internationally. With specific responsibility for leading the development and expansion of the School’s program of internationalisation this position will also provide leadership around the continual improvement of curriculum and teaching in the School’s academic programs. 

The position will require an individual who can demonstrate their achievements in a related field of research and will be offered as either a Teaching and Research or Teaching Focused appointment.

The person

Applicants should possess a PhD in nursing and have clearly demonstrated teaching and research leadership/or teaching and scholarship of teaching and learning leadership within an academic setting. A sound understanding of and experience in the development of internationalisation initiatives in a similar environment will be highly regarded. Applicants should have a demonstrated capacity to contribute to program improvement and an established track record of attracting research grants and publishing in high quality outlets. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.

This role is a full-time position; however flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.

This is a full-time, continuing appointment at Academic level D. The remuneration package will be in the range $135,909 - $149,731 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $159,014 - $175,185 p.a.).
