Research Assistant/Research Associate in Vaccinology
- Based in the School of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences in the new Health Innovation Building
- Full-time 12 month fixed term contract
- Salary range: $67,769 - $91,969 per annum (plus super)

Joining the School of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences and under the direction of the Professor and Head of the Experimental Therapeutics Laboratory, you will conduct high quality research with the aim of achieving defined objectives and testing stated hypotheses. The project involves new vaccine design, construction and testing, with skills required in cellular and molecular immunology and virology.
Skills and Experience
To be successful you will hold an honours degree or postgraduate qualifications in vaccinology, cellular, molecular and/or viral immunology and a demonstrated record of achievement in a discipline area directly relating to the work of the Experimental Therapeutics Laboratory. You will also have technical expertise in laboratory procedures relevant to the research project, competency in presenting research to stakeholders and high level analytical skills.
High level organisational skills and an ability to work to tight deadlines, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills, with a collaborative approach to research is essential in this role.
