ITALI Directed by the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Teaching and Learning), ITaLI provides leadership, engagement and advocacy in educational innovation, teaching excellence and learning analytics, and aims to transform teaching and learning across the University through the delivery of faculty and executive prioritised, teaching and learning projects and services, including support to deliver UQ’s Student Strategy.
ITaLI addresses critical areas of unmet need in teaching and learning by bridging the gap between the exponentially‐expanding discipline of higher education teaching and the increasing complexity of teaching to assist University teaching staff and improve the learning experience of students.
To support academic staff across the University with the uptake, development and evaluation of learning technologies, resources and pedagogies to enhance teaching quality, and support students’ learning in the University’s coursework programs. The position provides a single point of contact for staff (individuals and groups) related to curriculum, pedagogy and assessment support, with particular reference to those projects and academic staff developing blended courses.
Applicants should possess tertiary qualifications as well as experience in developing resources to support student learning. You should have a strong desire to develop online and on-campus resources informed by an understanding of how higher education students learn, combined with the ability to prioritise tasks through time and project management, work independently, maintain attention to detail and apply a customer-oriented focus.

This is a full-time, fixed term appointment at HEW Level 7. The remuneration package will be in the range $81,883.65 - $89,559.15 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $95,803.87 - $104,784.21 p.a.).
