The Content Procurement team, part of the Content and Planning group within Library Services, is looking for a Library Assistant to contribute to the Library’s purchasing/reading lists activities.
By the timely processing of information resource requests and supplier invoices, the role holder will ensure an excellent service to academic and support colleagues, postgraduate and undergraduate students, and our external stakeholders. They will also contribute to day-to-day answering of queries and daily administration, advising and liaising with other Library teams as appropriate.
The role holder will need to adopt a flexible approach to the tasks associated with the role, and will be expected to work autonomously and as part of a team. The role holder will also work to a consistently high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, in order to contribute to an effective and efficient library service.
