The Role and Your Responsibilities

The Australian APEC Centre is part of the Industry Engagement Group in the College of Business. It supports APEC's strategic, economic, social and educational objectives throughout the Asia-Pacific region through institutional capacity building, regional policy advice and research. The centre also manages the APEC Business Advisory Council Secretariat.

The Projects Officer (APEC) is responsible for providing high quality project management and advice for training programs, conferences, secretariat services, databases and other activities for the APEC Centre.

Skills & Experience Required

You will have extensive experience in project development and management including financial management, budgeting and acquittals. You will be an excellent communicator with good time management skills. You will have an interest, and preferably work experience in the Asia Pacific region.

You will have a proven ability to deal with stakeholders from a diverse range of academic, business and cultural backgrounds and handle a range of situations and information in the strictest confidence. You will have strong writing, communication and computer skills.
