The University of Queensland Library

The UQ Library supports the teaching and learning, research and engagement goals of the University by providing services to support our clients to find and use information, and providing access to information online and in print.

The role

This position provides virtual and information assistance to the UQ Community that reflects a client service ethos, to maximize the use of Library resources, services and facilities. This position is based at the Gatton campus but works as part of a UQ cross-campus team to provide a range of Information, Library and Client support services. Evening and weekend rostered work will be required.

The person

Applicants should have a relevant qualification and work experience (either in IT and/or Library environments). Applicants should have excellent interpersonal, communication, teamwork, customer service and people skills essential for the role. Applicants should also have good problem solving, time management and organisational skills with an ability to work in a changing environment. See selection criteria for further details.

This is a continuing full time (36 hours and 15 minutes per week) appointment at HEW Level 4.  The remuneration package will be in the range $59,429.60 to $63,305.88 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $69,532.63 to $74,067.87 p.a.).
