EPIToPe Programme Manager
We wish to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic programme manager either on an academic or professional services pathway to deliver a new 5 year research programme on “Evaluating the Population Impact of Hepatitis C Direct Acting Antiviral Treatment as Prevention for People Who Inject Drugs” (EPIToPe), funded by National Institute Health Research (NIHR).
You will join a multidisciplinary academic team in Population Health Sciences Bristol Medical School with academic and government partners in Glasgow, Dundee, Cambridge and London. The post-holder will be based both with NIHR Health Protection Research Unit in Evaluation and Bristol Randomised Trial Collaboration (BRTC). The overall aim of EPIToPe is to generate robust UK empirical evidence on the “Treatment as Prevention“ hypothesis for HCV i.e. does scaling up HCV treatment among People Who Inject Drugs reduce HCV prevalence and transmission in the population?
