This post is a unique opportunity for an individual to make a major impact on the undergraduate medical curriculum in the University of Bristol. You will be responsible for championing the three areas of disability, disadvantage and diversity across all five curriculum years, and for delivering significant blocks of teaching and coordinating, and encouraging others to facilitate student learning in these areas.

You will ensure that the helical theme content remains topical and relevant and includes adherence to professional standards and guidance, e.g. GMC Outcomes for Graduates. You will work with students, faculty members and, importantly, members of diverse communities to ensure different voices are heard and valued. Experience within the education system is highly advantageous, as will some understanding of the health sector, and some specialist experience within one of the three curriculum areas.

For informal enquiries, please contact Trevor Thompson; trevor.thompson@bris.ac.uk

It is anticipated that interviews will take place w/c 14 May 2018

The University is committed to creating and sustaining a fully inclusive culture. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and communities.
