The Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Vice-President (Education) leads a dedicated portfolio to shape the University’s future path in education and in advancing Monash’s commitment Indigenous education and to social inclusion. The portfolio is charged with leading the University’s approach to learning and teaching, and championing a world-class educational experience for students.
They now have an amazing opportunity for an Executive Officer to join their team to provide a range of high-level administrative, governance and communications services to support their operations. You will work closely with internal partners to ensure smooth and professional operation of the office including executive administrative and communications support, event coordination and executive-level assistance to committees and working groups.
Providing support for projects and events and undertaking a variety of general administrative duties to meet the operational demands of the Education Portfolio Executive team will be a core part of your role.
As the successful candidate, you will engage with key stakeholders from a diverse range of government, educational, private, public, community and research sectors.
You will be highly organised and skilled in a range of administration duties. Passionate about delivering a high level of service you will be flexible in your approach and consistent with your standards.
To truly excel in this role you will have strong communication skills and a proactive mindset, able to respond to changing conditions while providing high-level support to executive level leaders.
