The Roles 

Within the Faculty, the Department of Management has a reputation for excellence in research and teaching and addressing challenges faced within the rapidly evolving business environment. Developing practical business and management insights is shown through the departments' partnerships with organisations and leading scholars throughout Australia and internationally.

The Department is seeking one Lecturer and one Senior Lecturer to further enhance the research and teaching within strategic management. Having an emerging or progressive research record, the successful appointees will also be able to promote the Department, Faculty and University within the academic and professional communities. You will play an important role in enhancing the standard of teaching and program development at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including the MBA program.  

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • A PhD in strategy/management or a closely-related discipline.
  • Demonstrated academic knowledge in the discipline and a commitment and capability to deliver high quality learning and teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
  • Capacity to independently conduct lectures, tutorials, assessments and exam marking in the relevant discipline area, and evidence of teaching quality.
  • Ability to proactively engage or partner with industry and professional bodies on relevant research and/or teaching projects.
  • Relevant research agenda and track record of publications in high quality journals.

Selection Criteria

Salary Package: From $99,879 (Level B) and $121,953 (Level C), plus 17% employer's superannuation and annual leave loading.
