Employability and Placement Advisor

The Faculty of Arts and Humanities Employability Support Team (EST) is responsible for organising and overseeing a variety of placement and work experience opportunities across three distinct Schools, Humanities; Media and Performing Arts and Arts and Design, for a large number of students studying across a diverse range of programmes.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual from commercial/careers/employability background, requiring a knowledge of recruitment and the ability to network and successfully develop relationships with external organisations.
The post holder will have responsibility for generating opportunities for students to gain placements and work experiences during their studies, providing advice and guidance to students regarding the placement process, encouraging the uptake of opportunities, employability events and activities, and overseeing compliance and administration.
