- Based in the Division of Education, Arts and Social Sciences, Magill campus
- Full time, five (5) year fixed term contract
- Salary range: $96,150 - $108,705 per annum (plus super)
About the Job
As the University of Enterprise, the University of South Australia (UniSA) truly values engagement with government, community organisations and businesses both large and small – partnering to undertake research that has impact and helps those groups achieve their goals, developing opportunities for students, and harnessing the expertise of successful organisations and their resources.
The Division of Education, Arts and Social Sciences has developed strong partnerships with Federal and State government departments (Defence, Health, Education, Transport and Infrastructure, and Social Services), community organisations (Uniting Communities, Helping Hand, Beyond Blue) and businesses (Samsung, Saab, FMG Engineering), and we are keen to do so much more. In this position, you will identify and work with a diverse range of external organisations to truly understand their business needs and how UniSA can support those needs, to foster sustained mutually rewarding partnerships. Critical to this endeavour is developing a deep understanding of our own talented researchers, and helping them to identify opportunities to work with new organisations as well as grow existing relationships.
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you are likely to have experience in the not-for-profit or service sector partnering with a range of external enterprises. A background in or understanding of the social sciences or humanities would also help you align the Division with appropriate partners, and enable you to think creatively in pursuing partnering opportunities. Ideally, you will have the ability to understand the offerings of the Division, and align their value to the priorities of current and prospective partners.
