The Office of the Vice-Chancellor, led by Professor Brian Schmidt, Vice-Chancellor and President, develop and implement strategies, policies and procedures to support ANU to meet its strategic goals and operational needs.
An exciting opportunity exists for an Executive Officer within the Office of the Vice-Chancellor, to have a key role in implementing the University Experience Plan, driving the output of the wider University Experience portfolio.
Reporting to the Director of the Office of the Vice-Chancellor, with a significant focus on supporting the Pro Vice-Chancellor (University Experience), this position will also provide high-level support to the Vice-Chancellor and Provost to achieve strategic goals and deliver operational outcomes efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Highly developed communication skills and the provision of high level support, should be complemented with the ability to strategically prioritise work to meet completing demands, within a fast paced and complex environment. A demonstrated track record of achievement in relation to strategic goals and process improvements through the adoption of innovative approaches, is essential.
The Executive Officer is required for an initial period of 12 months.
