Digital Services Coordinator

UNSW Canberra Library at the Australian Defence Force Academy is one of Australia’s major research libraries, with extensive print and digital scholarly information resources and special collections located at the Canberra campus. It supports a diverse community of students and staff and works in close partnership with the UNSW Sydney Library.

  • Level 6 - $83,653 - $89,238 + (17% Super)
  • Level 7 - $91,755 - $ 99,306 + (17% Super)

The Digital Services Coordinator ensures that client interactions with the Library through online channels are comprehensive, high quality and seamless. To achieve operational excellence in digital client services, the Coordinator monitors, analyses and enhances the performance of the Canberra Library’s digital services channels such as the enquiry management system, online booking systems, digital communication tools and library applications. The Coordinator also provides expert advice across the library organisation on the selection, implementation, configuration, integration and testing of systems and procedures which support the delivery of online services to library clients.

About the successful applicant

We are seeking an energetic, motivated and reliable professional with comprehensive knowledge and expertise in library and digital system architecture and services, including demonstrated technical skills in the use of online information management and delivery systems (e.g. websites, CMS, analysis systems and library applications).

Strong interpersonal, and communication skills (including the ability to build relationships with a range of stakeholders), flexibility, the ability to work collaboratively, and proven capability to apply knowledge and experience to analyse and resolve complex technical issues are also seen as essential for the role.
