Human Resources delivers a comprehensive suite of HR services to approximately 4000 employees working at the University. The role of Human Resources is to provide efficient and effective services to support the employment and management of University staff.
We are currently seeking applications for the position of Human Resources Officer will provide administrative support and assistance in relation to recruitment and selection activities and candidate care management for a dedicated client portfolio. This includes the sourcing of positions, coordination of recruitment activities including interview, flight and accommodation arrangements, and preparing letters of offer.
The position also provides generalist administrative support for direct hire and rehire activities, and employment related matters including maintenance of HR and staff data, on boarding, probation, and performance review activities for academic and general staff.
This is a full-time, continuing position based at the Nathan campus.
To be successful in this role you will possess an Associate Diploma in Human Resource Management plus relevant experience in a generalist HR or recruitment administration role, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
You will also possess demonstrated experience in using large HRIS systems with excellent computer skills using a variety of applications, as well as strong organisational skills including the ability to meet deadlines and manage competing demands without compromising standards of service or quality.
Your excellent interpersonal and communication skills, along with your experience in the production of employment documentation and attention to detail, is paramount to the position. Knowledge and experience with PeopleSoft HCM would be well regarded.
HEW Level 4: $58,188 - $61,569 per annum. Salary package including 17% employer superannuation contribution: $68,079 - $72,035 per annum.
