Director of International Recruitment 

This is a new role within the University and a significant opportunity to lead the University’s international recruitment activity, and be responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating international recruitment and associated marketing strategies. The role will be instrumental in collaborative working, engaging with key stakeholders to ensure that the international student recruitment activities are effectively coordinated, delivered, and aligned with the University strategy and to set and deliver on targets.
 
The post holder will work closely with the Director of International Development, Director of Alumni Relations and Executive Director Business Engagement, ensuring that partnerships and pathway providers feed into the recruitment plans, and build on the global alumni community and industry contacts in Aston’s key markets. The post holder is also responsible for leadership of the International recruitment team, and managing resources effectively and efficiently, with a view to maintaining quality in our service levels and provision.

Educated to degree level or equivalent with a relevant professional qualification, you will have proven experience in working in a senior role, developing and successfully implementing international student recruitment and marketing strategies. This will include commercial acumen demonstrated through experience in working in a target driven environment, proven experience of building strategic partnerships and an ability to read the regulatory landscape. An analytical thinker, you will have strong team leadership and stakeholder management skills and be a highly proficient communicator.
