Generate philanthropic support for research that leads to real change in public policy and the law.
The 2025 Strategy is the driver to advancing UNSW’s ambitious philanthropic goal to build a world-class development and engagement team. Beginning with the appointment of a new Vice-President, Philanthropy in February 2016, we are significantly expanding our team.
UNSW Sydney is now recruiting for Development Manager, Law that, with the broad support of centralised alumni & engagement, prospect development, donor services and stewardship teams, will implement strategies to achieve significant philanthropic revenue targets, and manage a personal portfolio of major gift prospects. The focus is on cultivating and soliciting major and planned gifts in support of the University’s highest fundraising priorities.
UNSW Law is a leading research-intensive faculty that focuses on interdisciplinary and collaborative research. In order to achieve this, UNSW Law has built several outstanding collaborative research Centres which lead in their field, including the Gilbert + Tobin Centre of Public Law, the Allens Hub for Technology, Law and Innovation, the Centre for Law Markets and Regulation and the Andrew and Renata Kaldor Centre for International Refugee Law. This research is used to inform, inspire and enliven out teaching.
As a relatively young law school, UNSW Law prides itself on being a leader in progressive and rigorous legal education. Student engagement is fundamental to everything we do. Renowned for our teaching method, we offer smaller class sizes, interactive teaching and a wealth of opportunities for studies beyond the classroom, both locally and overseas.
