About the role

The Policy Advisor works collaboratively with senior executives, the Chair of Academic Board and business units across the University, assisting to develop the policies and procedures necessary to achieve the University’s objectives in accordance with its mission, Strategic Plan and legal and regulatory requirements.

The Policy Advisor provides a range of services including research, analysis, benchmarking, and drafting of formal policies and supporting documents, and is also responsible for maintaining the University’s central policy library.

This role may be based at either our Gold Coast or Lismore campus.

About you

To be successful you will have experience in an equivalent role in policy, business analysis or policy drafting and will have well-developed research and analytical skills.You will have previously demonstrated advanced skills in proof-reading, editing and document formatting, and be a confident communicator with strong negotiation and influencing skills.
