Instructor, Legal Interviewing and Client Counseling
Boston University School of Law is seeking to hire a part-time instructor to teach a practical skills seminar in Legal Interviewing and Client Counseling in spring 2019. The class will be offered to foreign-trained lawyers enrolled in the school’s LLM in American Law Program. It is designed to introduce LLM students to the theory and practice of legal interviewing and client counseling, using a combination of classroom discussion, reading, reflective writing, simulations and role-plays. The course will provide opportunities for experiential learning, allowing students to develop and practice interviewing and counseling in real-world contexts.
Prior law school teaching experience is strongly preferred. Interest in and ability to work with international students highly valued.
