Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in Clinical Psychology
Applications are invited for appointment as Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in Clinical Psychology in the Department of Psychology, to commence on September 1, 2018 or as soon as possible thereafter, on a three-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal and consideration for tenure before the expiry of a second three-year fixed-term contract.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Clinical Psychology, and a good record of research and teaching, or sound indicators of promise as a teacher in clinical psychology. Clinical experiences that can inform their teaching will be an asset. The appointee is expected to maintain an active research programme, and be responsible for teaching courses at both postgraduate and undergraduate levels, and supervising research students. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 15% of basic salary, as well as annual leave and medical benefits. Housing benefits will be provided as applicable.
