Job Description

Oversee the workflow of clinical finances related to state medicaid programs, including MassHealth and other identified programs administerd by Dentaquest. Assist the Billing and Claims Manager to effectively manage the BUGSDM Accounts Receivable, in particular items billed to MassHealth and other state medicaid programs. In addition, to assist the Manager and Senior Manager on all financial functions within the Office of Clinical Finance.

Required Skills

Requirements: Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field required. A minimum of two to three years of direct experience processing insurance and billing claims, posting receipts, and investigating denials related to state wide Medicaid programs is required. Proven experience working with MS Excel capturing data and generating reports is required. Understanding basic accounting principles is preferred Work experience must be within a health care setting, preferably be in a dental setting. Must be able to demonstrate proven customer service skills Must be able to demonstrate critical thinking to solve issues and provide recommended solution for resolution Need to be a self-starter with the ability to be proactive and work independently Must be comfortable working in a team environment collaborating with coworkers and other staff throughout the school Must be organized with attention to detail Must have effective communication skills both written and verbal Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced technology driven environment
