Computer Support Specialist
Under the supervision of the Associate Director of Client Services, the Computer Support Specialist will provide technology support services to the Boston University Medical Campus Community by participating in Service Desk intake, incident and service request resolution and will act as an escalation point for Client Support Specialists and student assistants. This role provides Level 1 Service Desk functions. The Computer Support Specialist will provide rapid and efficient diagnosis and resolution of client issues and the communication of information that allows staff, faculty and students to use their computers in the most effective manner possible. Provides maintenance and support for basic University IT products, peripherals, network and other services. Works on one project at a time as a project team member.
3-5 years experience and Associate's/Vocational degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
