Cultural, Communication and Computing Research Institute (C3RI) has a strong track record in conducting internationally renowned multidisciplinary research, consultancy and industry engagement, and offers a lively and highly collaborative research environment. We are now looking for a postdoctoral researcher in Human-Computer Interaction to work on an exciting new research project funded by the European Commission under Horizon2020 called “CultureLabs”.

CultureLabs will see a team of 9 European partners in 6 countries design and develop an open ICT platform to facilitate social inclusion in cultural heritage initiatives and institutions. The CultureLabs platform will comprise a rich variety of resources including guidelines, methodologies, digital tools, as well as novel approaches that can facilitate social innovation and inclusion in culture. 

You will have responsibility for conducting user research to inform the design of the platform, facilitate participatory activities with end-users and stakeholders, conduct evaluations of the platform in use, and contribute to project reporting and dissemination.
