£34,520 to £38,833 per annum

The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences is seeking to appoint a Post-Doctoral Teaching Fellow in Criminology within the Department of Applied Social Studies.  This is an exciting time to be a member of the Department as we build on our successful student recruitment and growing research presence. 

We are seeking an academic with an ability and willingness to make a significant contribution to the growth of Criminology within the Department through teaching and research. The BA Criminology programme is an established, popular and successful programme within the Department and Faculty. The MSc in Applied Criminology has grown rapidly since its inception in 2015 and is now one of the largest taught Masters programmes in the University.

As our preferred candidate you will offer expertise in areas such as policing, cultural criminology, applied criminology and criminological research, and will be able to lead modules on the BA and MSc programmes in these and related areas.
