Senior Research Assistant/Research Assistant I/II in the Department of Psychiatry (Ref.: 201800363) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Psychology, Counselling, Cognitive Science, Social Sciences, Statistics, Biological/Medical Sciences, Rehabilitation, Nursing or any related disciplines. They should have strong commitment to high quality research; excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills; a proactive problem-solving approach; as well as the ability to prioritize work and maintain a high level of effectiveness. The ability to communicate in Cantonese is essential. Those with less experience may be considered for appointment as Research Assistant I/II. The appointee will participate in psychosis studies and psychotic disorders research. He/She will carry out challenging cutting-edge research involving clinical, psychopathological, cognitive neuroscience, biomarkers and neuroimaging approaches. He/She will also be responsible for the development and administrative management of the research projects; data entry, data management and analysis of research data; as well as public awareness activities.
