The University seeks to appoint a new Vice-Principal (Academic) / Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic). The appointee will lead the academic activity of the University, delivering excellence in teaching, research and knowledge exchange. Reporting to the Principal, the post holder will be a member of the University’s Executive Group, and will have line-management responsibility for the University’s Heads of School and the Director of Teaching and Learning Enhancement.
Applicants should be proven deliverers of innovation and change in Higher Education, with outstanding team working and influencing skills, and a commitment to developing colleagues. Already an experienced academic leader, you will be able to provide evidence of working collaboratively with colleagues across an institution and in leading change. A successful track record of combining strategic thinking with operational delivery is critical.
