Postdoctoral Research Associate – Politics and Youth Studies
This role is full time and fixed term with a planned end date of 31 December 2018.
Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Politics and Youth Studies. The purpose of this 6 month fixed term part-time PDRA is to support Professor Emma Murphy in gathering, collating and representing data required for a monograph on the political economy of youth in the Middle East and North Africa. The research associate will be responsible for working closely with Professor Murphy to identify key sources of comparative data, to collate such data (notably with regard to national policy and data, international demographic and other statistical data, and key texts from international organisations) and to reformulate it into publication-ready graphs, tables and illustrations. The researcher will be supported in developing their own research agenda from this data collection and in developing their own publication-standard outputs.
For informal enquiries please contact Professor Emma Murphy at email@example.com. All enquiries will be treated in the strictest confidence.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interview and assessment in the first half of May 2018.
