Job Description

The Assistant Director will help the BUMC Student Financial Services office achieve goals for recruitment, retention and superior service by assisting students in financing their education through financial analysis, planning and advisement. Additionally, this position will provide loan entrance and exit counseling, debt management, and personal budgeting advising to students. This position will work as part of a team supporting the Schools of Medicine, Dental Medicine, and Public Health. This position will evaluate and analyze detailed confidential reports to determine student eligibility for financial assistance using both federal and institutional methodology.   • Ability to work well in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
  • Working knowledge of federal and state financial aid policies, procedures and regulations are preferred.

Required Skills

Bachelor's degree and one to three years of experience in a service and detail oriented position, strong analytical and organizational skills.
