The School of Engineering and Applied Science has a focus on designing and delivering professionally relevant programmes and research informed teaching to help to prepare our graduates to enter and impact industry. Our optional paid professional placement year allows our students to exploit our connections with business and industry, and put theory into practice in real world scenarios.
We are developing an exciting new collaboration with Nanjing University of Finance and Economics (NUFE), and are looking to recruit two Lecturers to contribute to making it a success.
A willingness to travel to Nanjing, China to delivery teaching, as part of this role is essential.
You will have a PhD in Computer Science or a related field. You will also have experience of working with industry, leading on strategic initiatives, and will have an interest and knowledge of software engineering programming.
For lecturer posts, the minimum period for which initial appointments are made is normally five years with the possibility of transfer to a continuing appointment
