The Centre for Interdisciplinary Learning and Teaching (ZiLL) was founded at TU Dresden as part of the implementation of the Institutional Strategy "The Synergetic University", which strengthens research-oriented, interdisciplinary teaching in the long term by establishing a structured teaching and project offer for all students at the university. Director of the ZiLL
(Subject to personal qualification employees are remunerated according to salary group E 13 TV-L)
is to be filled as soon as possible, initially for a limited period until 31st October 2019 (time limitation pursuant to § 14 (1) TzBfG). Part-time employment is usually possible; please indicate your preference and the desired time-period in your application.
Tasks: Continuation and further development of essential tasks of the ZiLL and support of the teaching-related reorganisation process of TU Dresden: academic-technical and strategic-organisational administration of ZiLL; development of structured programmes for the acquisition and communication of interdisciplinary and research-oriented contents in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders; support of the Schools or Faculties, Central Academic Units and the Clusters of Excellence of TU Dresden in the development of interdisciplinary study programmes; further development of the offer to include DRESDEN-concept partners in research-oriented teaching.
Requirements: university degree in a relevant field, preferably humanities and social sciences / educational sciences, a doctoral degree is welcome; knowledge and experience in project and quality management, in teaching-related organisational development processes as well as in the application and third-party funding; excellent pedagogical and didactic knowledge and skills; comprehensive knowledge of course studies and teaching at a university; strong experience in the implementation of interdisciplinary projects or interdisciplinary teaching; experience in the conception of interdisciplinary study programmes and research-oriented formats; very good spoken and written ability in both German and English; strong communication and team skills, analytical thinking, high level of personal commitment, creativity and individuality.
