Applications are invited for the post of Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Biochemistry/Neuroscience.

The UCD School of Biomolecular and Biomedical Science is inviting applications for the permanent post of Lecturer/Assistant Professor to contribute to our Undergraduate (BSc) and Postgraduate (MSc) programmes, in particular, in the areas of Biochemistry (BSc) and Neuroscience (BSc). The BSc and MSc programmes delivered by the School are amongst the most popular in UCD Science. 

The successful candidate will join a vibrant teaching- and research-intensive School and actively participate in the design and delivery of teaching modules at fundamental and advanced levels of the undergraduate and postgraduate curriculum. It is expected that the successful candidate will establish a productive, extramurally, funded research programme, supervise postgraduate research students and initiate research collaborations with colleagues in the School and beyond.  We are looking to recruit an individual with a proven track record of research in the areas of Biochemistry and Neuroscience, who will establish a vibrant and interdisciplinary research programme that complements current research expertise in the School. 

95 Lecturer/Assistant Professor (above the bar) Salary Scale:  €52,325 - €82,267 per annum 

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
