Job Summary:

This role is an integral part of the delivery team at the Business School, reporting to the Head of Delivery. The role is to manage the effective development and delivery of the financial services professional qualifications at the business school. The successful candidate will ensure the design quality, development and updates of materials in line with the programme team specifications, as well as liaising with key stakeholders to ensure the smooth delivery of all financial services programmes, both public and apprenticeship.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Portfolio project management of a wide range of financial services professional qualifications and apprenticeship programmes
  • End to end management of development of new programmes
  • Management of continuous improvement and quality assurance of existing programmes
  • Co-ordinated review of FS programme quality and recommendations for improvements to deliver enhanced teaching & learning and client experience and increase profitability through efficiency.
  • Working with the programme team to ensure appropriate updates to materials
  • Managing the e-assessments process
  • Managing the material design and development process
  • Providing guidance and liaising with faculty/authors in the development process
  • Managing the feedback on financial services products
  • Update the Operations Activity Calendar
  • Work with resourcing team as part of the development needs
  • Contribute to the development of appropriate systems and processes within the business school
  • Liaise with central departments to ensure the Business School is appropriately represented and kept up to date with any necessary information/changes
  • Liaising with internal BPP Client Teams in relation to meeting the objectives of contractual service level agreements
  • Working directly with Clients to understand their needs and ensure these are fully met through the delivery and development of programmes
  • Routine data management and reporting
  • Enhancement of operational processes around the programme portfolio
  • Liaising with professional institutions as required
  • Working closely with a variety of internal School teams and individuals to ensure the needs of programmes, clients and learners are met
  • Any other related requirements as required by the school

Knowledge, experience and qualifications required

  • Understanding of financial services products (CFA, CISI and CBI)
  • Project management experience (relevant qualification desirable, but not essential)
  • People-focussed
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Significant experience of operational organisation including developing new systems and processes
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage problems and find appropriate solutions
  • Experience of working in a resourcing environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A good team worker
  • Good IT Skills (Excel, Databases, conference/web software)
  • Experience of negotiation and managing different stakeholders
  • Ability to work under pressure and apply flexible solutions
  • Excellent attention to detail
