- Based in the University Library at various campuses
- Multiple vacancies at full-time, two (2) year fixed term contract
- Salary range: $61,431- $69,442 per annum (plus super)
About the Job
The University of South Australia Library supports the University’s teaching learning and research mission through provision of relevant information resources and associated services through five campus libraries and an Off-Campus Library Service.
As the Graduate Library Officer, you will develop the skills and knowledge to successfully undertake duties within the library and information science profession whilst undertaking rotations through various service areas of the Library. This role requires changes in the duties undertaken at intervals to provide you with opportunities to broaden your experience and allow the Library to respond to new university priorities.
Skills and Experience
To be eligible for this position, you will either be a recent Graduate from UniSA or expected completion by end of 2018 in a related discipline. This is a developmental position for those intending to undertake the UniSA’s Graduate Diploma in Library and Information Management or have recently completed Postgraduate studies in Information Management.
Your written, verbal and interpersonal skills will help you to quickly become a productive member of a cross-functional team and effectively communicate with other people at appropriate levels of the organisation. You will also be skilled at researching, analysing and summarising information using MS Office tools to thrive in this customer service oriented role.
