Aston Law School, a constituent part of Aston Business School, has a distinctive mission – the provision of commercially intelligent legal education – reflecting our position in a leading international business school and in a university focused on maximising the employability of its students. As a growing Law School we offer a friendly, supportive and vibrant community of legal scholars embedded in a world-leading business faculty.

We currently offer two qualifying law degrees and also deliver law modules across a wide range of business and management programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. We have ambitious expansion plans and are now seeking to recruit a Senior Lecturer to support these plans by providing additional teaching, research and enterprise expertise in the area of Fraud or Corporate Crime.

An ability to contribute to the teaching and research of Fraud or Corporate Crime is essential. The ability to offer other legal subjects is highly desirable. You will have a track record of strong research (appropriate to career stage) and a well-developed plan of research that covers the remaining period of the REF cycle and beyond. You will also be committed to excellent teaching and outstanding student support.

This post is being offered in conjunction with a Lectureship in Fraud or Corporate Crime. If you would like to be considered for both levels of appointments please complete the application process for both advertisements.

The post is available to start in the autumn of 2018.
Aston University is committed to the principles of the Athena SWAN Charter, recognised by a bronze award. We pride ourselves on our vibrant, friendly, supportive working environment and collaborative atmosphere.
