Finance at UQ operates within a devolved environment with Finance staff located in Professional Services teams in Faculties, Research Institutes and Central Divisions supported by Finance specialist service teams. This position sits within the Corporate Finance team for Finance.
The primary purpose of the Accountant is to provide accurate, timely and professional accounting and other support to the accounting and external reporting services of the Contract & Grants Accounting Section within Finance & Business Services.
Applicants should possess a degree level qualification with substantial relevant work experience and membership of a professional accounting body or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education and training.
This is a full-time, fixed-term appointment at HEW Level 7. The remuneration package will be in the range $81,884 to $89,559 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17%.
