This is an exciting opportunity to join the Accounts Payable Team in the busy Finance Office of LSHTM, processing invoices, payments, expenses, fees and journals, and providing a high level of service to staff, students, suppliers and research collaborators alike.
Reporting to the Assistant Financial Accountant (AP), the successful candidate will have previous experience of working within an Accounts Payable team, dealing with a high volume of transactions preferably covering a wide range of currencies. Speed, accuracy and efficiency, excellent numeracy, communication skills and ability to show initiative and contribute to the development of the team are essential qualities, as are the abilities to take responsibility for queries and resolve problems with minimal supervision. The School uses the Agresso financial system, and previous experience of this would be an advantage. The role will involve all aspects of accounts payable work. The post is full-time, permanent and available immediately. The salary will be on the Professional Support Pathway Grade 3 scale in the range £24,761 to £28,053 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service. Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part time staff. In addition to this, there are discretionary “Director’s Days”. Membership of the Pension Scheme is available. The post is based in London, Keppel Street.
