The School of Engineering and Information Technology undertakes key research in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, Image Processing and Computer Graphics, Cyber Security and Networking, and Business Information Systems. The School’s teaching programs build on Murdoch’s vast experience in scientific training and research and provide our graduates with a lifelong career path. The Information Technology discipline offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate courses for future and existing IT professionals, both in Perth and transnationally in Singapore and Dubai.
Recognising a skills shortage in the cybersecurity industry and the need to produce high quality graduates and post graduates equipped with state-of-the-art knowledge in cybersecurity, Murdoch University seeks to appoint an individual with a strong research record and teaching experience in cybersecurity, networking, and related areas.
The candidate will teach a broad range of IT units including Cybersecurity and Forensics, develop innovative and contemporary teaching methods and will contribute to the research efforts of the discipline.
Skills and Experience
Applications are welcomed from candidates with a PhD, peer reviewed publications relevant to the area and experience in teaching at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. The Lecturer/Senior Lecturer will have a successful research track-record and proven knowledge in up-to-date approaches to curriculum and learning.
