The Lecturer or Senior Lecturer position will teach within the majors of Electrical Engineering, specifically Electrical Power Engineering; Renewable Energy Engineering; Instrumentation and Control Engineering; and/or Industrial Computer Systems. The key responsibility of this role will be to make a significant contribution to the teaching efforts of the School through the preparation and delivery of lectures and tutorials, program coordination, and supervision of honours and postgraduate students. The successful candidate will have involvement in engineering outreach and industry engagement activities within the discipline, as well as administrative functions for the School.
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will possess a PhD within the field of Electrical Engineering, along with demonstrated experience in teaching at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. It is expected that the successful candidate will have demonstrated success in the supervision of honours, postgraduate and HDR students and have sound knowledge of modern teaching and learning practices. Candidates for the Senior Lecturer level will have previous leadership experience.
