This is an exciting time to join the Macquarie University International College (MUIC) and the English Language Centre (ELC). MUIC provides local and international students with an alternative pathway to the University’s undergraduate degree offerings. At MUIC, students can complete a Foundation or Intensive program to enter the first year of a Macquarie University undergraduate degree, or a Diploma program to then enter the second year of a Macquarie University undergraduate degree.
The ELC prepares international students for university study through the delivery of English language and academic literacy programs. At the ELC, students can study a Direct Entry preparation program, Academic English, General English or a Study Tour program as a stand-alone offering, or as preparation for university study.
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and energetic person to lead our busy student administration team. Reporting to the Student Services Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the processing of student lifecycle transactions and related administrative activities; providing advice and support to students and college staff on student administration systems, policies, procedures and processes; resolving complex student matters; and driving process improvement across all aspects of the student life cycle.
You will have a focus on customer service, excellent problem solving and strong relationship management skills which enable you to make a positive contribution to an exceptional student experience.

- Experience working in student administration and services within higher education;
- Demonstrated strong commitment, skills and experience in delivering customer service in a high volume and fast paced environment;
- Demonstrated skill and experience in providing advice and guidance to students, including international students;
- Demonstrated experience interpreting and applying regulations, policies and procedures;
- Experience in implementing/contributing to business and process improvements within a changing environment;
- Experience supervising and coaching a team.

Salary Package: From $91,685 to $99,406 (Level 7), plus 17% employer's superannuation and annual loading.
Appointment Type: Full time, fixed-term for 2 years.
