About the Role
The Teaching Innovation Unit (TIU) provides a range of services to academic staff across the University, facilitating the promotion and implementation of institutional teaching and learning priorities, as well as supporting our postgraduate research agenda.
We are looking for creative, and organised professionals to provide specialist services for our academic cohort, to enhance blended and online learning. You will provide expert advice, training and support on the use of educational technologies in programs and courses that reflects our desired strategic learning and teaching outcomes.
Skills and Experience
You will have a highly developed knowledge of online learning; education technologies (including experience with learning management systems), and expertise in developing a range of educational course materials such as online quizzes, discussion groups, chats, podcasts, virtual classrooms, and e-portfolios. You will also have previous experience in applying pedagogical theory in the development of online learning solutions, and a commitment to working strategically and collaboratively with a wide variety of staff across the University structures.
