Job Description

This position will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships between Innovate@BU and donors, alumni, corporate sponsors and other eco-system partners such as the City of Boston. The position will collaborate extensively with both Boston Universitys Development and Alumni Relations and Corporate Relations Organizations with the primary goal of expanding experiential learning opportunities for both students and alumni. More About Innovate@BU: Our world needs more artists, more entrepreneurs, more creative solutions to societal problems. We need more innovators. Innovate@BU is where students can find the resources to turn ideas into actions that make an impact. As part of Innovate@BU, BUild Lab serves as the home for innovation and entrepreneurship on campus. The power of Innovate@BU lies in no one person or program, but in the diverse network of skills, concentrations, and passions spread across the entire University. BUild Lab will be a central hub where you can attend hands-on workshops, make connections with mentors, find funding sources, and collaborate with other students on a project that plays to your passions.

Required Skills

Bachelors degree required, Masters or equivalent preferable. A minimum of three years' experience in relationship management, either in fund-raising or governmental affairs and excellent oral and written communications skills are all strongly desired. Preference will be given to candidates with proven interest and background in innovation and entrepreneurship. We seek a forward-thinking and goals-oriented individual who is able to work both independently and be part of a team.

Please submit a cover letter to be considered.
