Salary: $98,775 - $117,290 p.a. plus 17% superannuation
The University of Melbourne seeks an enthusiastic, motivated and team-focused Lecturer (Veterinary Biosciences) to join our team in the Department of Veterinary Biosciences at the Melbourne Veterinary School. The Melbourne Veterinary School’s Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) is AVMA, RCVS and VSAAC accredited and the school is ranked globally at 15th among veterinary professional schools. The Lecturer in Veterinary Biosciences will contribute to building the Faculty’s teaching in veterinary biosciences across a range of body systems. The successful applicant will draw upon their clinical and basic scientific knowledge to conduct teaching of students in the DVM program, particularly in the areas of anatomy, histology and physiology of domestic animals.
The successful applicant will also be expected to participate actively in research in veterinary science, including research supervision, administration and engagement (knowledge transfer).
The position will be located at the Parkville campus of the University of Melbourne, however on occasion some classes and other duties will require travel to the Werribee campus.
